Social Media Marketing Trends week of June 2nd

ICYMI:

  • We had our first virtual ACN meet up and spent the time learning about each others’ stories, goals, and struggles with social.

  • We paired up and got the homework assignment to come up with 2 post topics you want to see from your partner.

  • 🎉 Amber is the new Community Marketing Partner managing the ACN! 🎉 You can always email her at amber@showupauthentic.com

  • Neil Patel confirms what I’ve known in my gut - AI content isn’t anywhere near a ‘replacement’ for human content, and engagement is at an all time low.

One thing that struck me in our meet up last week is that many of us fall off the reason we are creating content, or our reason evolves and changes.

So when is the last time you visited your content pillars?

Are they aligned with your goals?

Has the content you’ve been putting out under each pillar been performing?

I’ll be checking back in with my ‘why’ for posting this week - and aiming to make sure I post more strategically aligned to the goals I most want to achieve out of social media.

If you want a listening ear to bounce your ideas off of, feel free to book a call with me here and we can audit your account and chat about your pillars.

This week’s mantra…

“We don't rise to the level of our goals, we fall to the level of our habits”

- James Clear, author of Atomic Habits

A Baby Story 🤮

Many of us Mom’s remember that first time we puked thinking, “am I pregnant!?”

Jump on this funny trend and share your puking due to pregnancy story.

You’ll need an old photo or videos for this one that helps set the scene.

If you don’t have any, you could put up a generic photo that helps describe the scenario in which you were puking. Like a screenshot of a pepto bismal bottle, or photo of the outside of the restaurant you were at.

Examples: Megan, Two, Three
