Social Media Marketing Trends week of October 7th

This Week’s Mindset:

“Make the moves you need, let go of fear, and trust yourself and the universe.” - Rosalyn Ortega-Elie

Do you ever feel like you have nothing to post?

Feeling a ‘creative block?’

Or so preoccupied with other things in your life that creating just doesn’t feel relevant?

Our minds can feel cluttered with daily to-dos, worries, and more.

I have a few tried and true methods to help you snap back into a place of freedom to receive ideas, and create.

This week I will share with you the first one.

Journaling is like Marie Kondo for your brain. It's time to declutter that beautiful mind of yours and spark some joy!

Here's your mission, should you choose to accept it:

  1. Grab any scrap of paper you can find. The back of that grocery list? Perfect. Your kid's homework? Maybe not (but I won't judge).

  2. Set a timer for 3 minutes. That's shorter than the time it takes to heat up your coffee for the third time today.

  3. Now, brain dump like it's going out of style! Everything that's bouncing around in your head - worries, brilliant ideas, that embarrassing thing you said in 2nd grade - get it ALL out.

  4. Don't worry about making it pretty. This isn't calligraphy class (unless that's your thing, then by all means, make it fabulous).

  5. When the timer dings, take a look at what you've written. How do you feel? Lighter? Like you've just had a therapy session without the couch?

Remember, you are NOT your to-do list.

You're not the pile of laundry or the unanswered emails.

You're a rockstar juggling life like a boss.

This little exercise is your reminder of what really matters. It's like hitting the refresh button on your brain - way more satisfying than refreshing your inbox for the 100th time today.

So go ahead, give it a try. Your mind will thank you for taking a moment to reset and recharge. After all, you can't pour from an empty cup.

Now, go forth and journal like a champion! 🏆✍️

I lied, put your clothes back on…

Easy and EFFECTIVE trend alert!

This is an example of what a really strong hook can do for your content!

Am I right?!

Who doesn’t want to read the rest of the sentence.

This trend is a great opportunity to show what you overthink, what is really going on in your head, what you are obsessed with knowing.

For filming, use the slow motion setting to film yourself sitting down in a chair, crossing your legs, and putting your hands on your knee while looking into the camera.

Examples: When you loved me, One, Favorite TV Show, Deep
