Wicked

The star-studded premier of the Wicked movie starring Cynthia Arivo and Ariana Grande was this weekend. The Broadway play has been running over 20 years!

The ‘too perfect’ Glinda and outcast Alphaba are relatable archetypes, juxtaposed with the over-the-top magical kingdom of Oz and wizardry fiction storyline.

The movie’s marketing campaign was very strong across social media, with the Instagram account gaining half a million followers. The movie doesn’t release to the public until November 22nd, and so I expect audios to trend and creative responses to the movie to continue throughout the month.

There was a trend from 2022, where you revealed something in a photo that made you ‘popular.’ Take it as inspo and watch for a potential revival. Example 1, Example 2.
