TikTok & Instagram Trends: April

“Whatever good things we build, end up building us.” - Jim Rhone

This week I attended the Mom 2.0 Summit in Orlando for the first time.

It was about 600 Moms working in media and marketing, or brands that wanted to connect with them.

The conference has been going on for 17 years, and is still led by the co-founder, Laura Mayes.

I have been seeing it go on from the sidelines, and finally decided this was my year to attend.

And I have to say, everyone on this list would benefit from attending, too.

Why?

We’re all Moms trying to help each other and make moves in this digital world.

I could walk up to a complete stranger and get right to business in under a minute, because we were all instinctively aligned to help each other.

I went to dinner with 6 women I only knew for an hour, and by the end of the first course we were telling each other our “cringiest goals.”

One woman wanted to make enough money to get a private plane.

Another wanted to adopt 5 more children.

It reminded me of the importance of community.

We have to be able to find people who understand our hopes and dreams, and are willing to lift each other up along the way.

I hope you feel that you have that here, with this newsletter.

Our premium members in ACN are so special to us.

Through Slack and weekly sessions we share with each other advice, support, and engagement.

I’ve watched them double their Instagram followings, land their biggest UGC opportunities, and even meet in person!

So if you’re tired of doing the social media grind on your own, remember you are truly NOT alone.

Even when it feels like it.

If you are looking for more support, I invite you to join ACN for just $249 for the year.

Let’s lean into community and lift each other up.

On to the prompts!

XO,

Lindsay

Oh, Chappell Roan

Pop star Chappell Roan has once again ignited TikTok after her Call Her Daddy interview, where she described motherhood as "hell" based on the experiences of her hometown friends.

Her “in hell” clip has become a viral audio trend, with moms using it to share their real stories: some pairing it with raw captions, others adding text overlays like “Me before and after becoming a mom.”

This debate opens up broader discussions about societal expectations, parenting, and the freedom to choose your own path.

Examples: IG audio, US in hell, Before and After Tiktok Audio, Calm down,Misogyny, CommentaryNot the kids but the laundry.
